Subscription Plans
Aura by Tomi offers three subscription plans:
• Princess plan: ₦15,000/month (For children under 16 years)
• Queen plan: ₦20,000/month
• Family plan: ₦30,000/month (One adult and one child under 16 years)
Number of Visits
Each plan includes a set number of visits per month:
• Princess Plan: Up to 3 visits
• Queen Plan: Up to 3 visits
• Family plan: Up to 3 visits (As long as the service falls on the same day and the services are basic washing, didi, or basic weaving)
Distance Restrictions
Services are available within a 20km radius of our base of operations. For clients located beyond this radius:
• Additional travel fees may apply based on distance. Fees will be communicated prior to booking.
• Visits may be limited to ensure service quality and time efficiency.
Service Customization
The number of visits per month is subject to the type of service requested:
• Simple styles (e.g., basic washing, didi, or basic weaving) may not affect the number of visits.
• More complex styles (e.g., dreadlocks, braids, or hair coloring) may reduce the number of visits based on time and material intensity or increase the amount to be paid depending on what is agreed.
Appointment Scheduling
Clients must book appointments at least 48 hours in advance. We will confirm availability based on schedule and stylist availability. Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment to avoid forfeiture of a visit in that month.
Payment
We accept payments through bank transfer. An invoice will be sent which contains our account details. All payments must be made in full at the start of your monthly subscription plan and the receipt should be sent to us on whatsApp.
Payment Return & Refund Policy
Non-Refundable Services: Payments made for subscription plans are non-refundable, except in situations outlined below.
1. Cancellation Before Service Begins: If you cancel your subscription before any service has been rendered, you are eligible for a full refund minus a processing fee of 10% of the total subscription fee. Cancellations must be made within 5 business days of the initial payment.
2. Cancellation After Service Has Begun: If you cancel your subscription after the first service session, you will receive a partial refund based on the remaining unused services. Refunds will be prorated, and an additional cancellation fee of 15% of the remaining balance may apply.
3. Missed Appointments: Missed appointments without prior notice (at least 24 hours in advance) will not be refunded, and the missed session will count as one of your monthly services.
4. Service Dissatisfaction: If you are dissatisfied with any service provided, please notify us within 24 hours, and we will arrange for a re-service at no additional cost. Refunds are not available for services already provided but efforts will be made to resolve any issues.
5. Force Majeure: In the event that Aura by Tomi is unable to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters or other emergencies), clients will have the option to reschedule appointments or receive a prorated refund for the affected period.
Subscription Renewal
All subscriptions are billed monthly. Clients may renew or cancel their subscription at any time.
Non-transferable
Subscriptions are non-transferable and cannot be shared with individuals outside the subscription plan.
Service Area
Aura by Tomi reserves the right to decline services to locations deemed inaccessible or unsafe for our stylists. Clients will be notified in such cases.
Liability
Aura by Tomi will not be held liable for any allergic reactions or damages resulting from pre-existing conditions that are not disclosed during consultations.
Express Service
Express Service refers to any home salon service requested within a 24-hour period. This includes emergency bookings or services that need to be completed on the same day or next day, outside of the standard scheduling.
Availability: Express Service is subject to availability. While we strive to accommodate all requests, priority is given to clients on a first-come, first-served basis. Express Services may not always be available during peak times or on weekends and public holidays. In such cases, we will do our best to suggest the next available time slot.
Additional Fees: A premium fee of 50% of the total service cost applies to all Express Service requests.This fee is in addition to the standard service cost and will be clearly communicated to you at the time of booking. Express Service fees are non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed.
Booking & Confirmation: Express Service requests must be made via phone or a designated WhatsApp line to ensure immediate attention. Full payment, including the express surcharge, is required at the time of booking to confirm the service. We will confirm your appointment once payment has been received.
Cancellations & Rescheduling: Express Service cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled service to qualify for a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 4 hours of the appointment time are non-refundable. Rescheduling Express Services is subject to availability and must be done at least 6 hours in advance. A rescheduling fee may apply.
Service Time Guarantee: While we strive to meet the requested time for Express Services, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic or weather conditions) may cause delays. In the event of a delay of more than 30 minutes, you will have the option to reschedule the service without incurring additional charges.
Distance Charges: Clients requesting Express Services outside our primary service areas may incur additional transportation fees, which will be communicated upfront based on the distance and urgency.
Special Considerations for Hair Services: Some hair treatments (e.g., dreadlock maintenance, hair coloring) may require preparation or additional time to ensure quality results. For these treatments, express service may not be possible within 24 hours, and clients will be notified accordingly. Express Service Terms Agreement By requesting Express Service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy. All bookings and payments are subject to the policies and fees listed above.
At Aura by Tomi, we understand that sometimes you may need a quick, last-minute service. Our Express Service is designed to accommodate such urgent requests while maintaining our high standards of service.
One Time Appointments
To ensure a seamless and efficient experience for all our clients, Aura by Tomi requires a 50% upfront payment for one time services before your appointment can be confirmed.
• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
• The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service.
Pictures
Client Consent: Aura values your privacy and will never take or use photos of you without your explicit consent. If you agree to have your pictures taken, they may be used for promotional purposes (such as on social media, website, or marketing materials) to showcase our services.
Usage of Photos: Any photos taken with your consent will only be used to highlight the quality of our work and will not be shared with third parties for any purpose outside of Aura's promotional activities.
Right to Decline: Clients have the full right to decline having their pictures taken or used for any purpose. Declining will not affect your ability to receive our services.
Photo Removal: If, after giving consent, you wish to have a photo removed from our platforms, you may contact us at [insert contact details], and we will promptly honor your request.
Adjustments to Terms
Aura by Tomi reserves the right to update or modify these terms as needed. Clients will be informed of any changes before their next billing cycle.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises regarding payment or service quality, we encourage you to contact our customer service team. We aim to resolve any issues amicably and in a timely manner. Should disputes persist, they will be settled under the laws governing business transactions in Lagos, Nigeria.
